Murukku and ribbon murukku


3 cups rice flour

1 cup besan

2 tbsp oil

2 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tsp ajwain

2 garlic cloves crushed

Pinch of cumin powder

Chilli powder and salt to taste



Mix all the ingredients and make it into a dough.

Rub some oil on the inner surface of the murukku mould.

Heat oil for deep frying and press murukku dorectly into the oil.

Fry until golden brown.

I also made ribbon murukku with the same dough.
