Low calorie and perfect tea time snack
Ingredients:
Puffed rice 12 cups
2 packets of roasted peanuts
1/2 cup raw peanuts
1 and 1/2 cup channa dahlia
8 red chillies broken
4 cloves of garlicĀ crushed
15 curry leaves
2 long green chillies cut into small pieces
5 tsp oil
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
Salt to taste
Method:
- Roast the puffed rice for 5-10 mts. Do not let them burn.
- Heat the oil.
- Add the mustard seeds.
- After they splutter, add raw peanuts, channa dahlia, red chillies, curry leaves and green chillies.
- After they fry, add garlic, roasted peanuts, turmeric and dhania powder.
- Fry for few seconds and add puffed rice mixture and salt.
